
The Paintsville Lady Tigers kept their hot streak alive Monday night, rolling past the Floyd Central Lady Jaguars 3-0.
Paintsville controlled the match from start to finish, taking sets of 25-12, 25-10 and 25-10.
Junior standout Kylie Kinner led the charge with 14 kills, four aces and a block. Mallory May followed with 10 kills, a block and an ace of her own.
On the season, Kinner has now totaled 607 kills while May sits at 251.
Individual stats for Floyd Central were not available at press time.
The win moves Paintsville to 20-10 on the year and marks their sixth straight victory. Floyd Central falls to 11-9.
Paintsville will be back in action tonight on the road against Belfry with first serve set for 7:30 p.m. Floyd Central returns to play Wednesday (Oct. 8) at 7 p.m.
In other area volleyball scores, Pike Central edged East Ridge 3-2, Martin County topped June Buchanan 3-1 and Pikeville swept Leslie County 3-0.
