PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Paintsville Tourism has announced the death of its director, Jeremiah Parsons.

Parsons had served as tourism director since 2022.

“Jeremiah’s love for Paintsville, his kindness, and his unwavering dedication to our community will never be forgotten,” the agency said on its Facebook page. “He poured his heart into serving this city and uplifting the people and places he cared so deeply about.”

The statement did not indicate the cause of death, except to say it was sudden.
