SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — Police continue to investigate after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck Thursday evening in Pike County.

Arthur Looney, 86, of Goody, was attempting to cross U.S. 119 at South Williamson just after 6 Thursday evening, when he was hit by a Ford F-150. He died at the scene.

Kentucky State Police, Belfry Volunteer Fire Department and Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service all responded to the scene.
