
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Perry County has been arrested more than four months after being indicted for drug trafficking in Pike County.
Tyler Scott Darnell, 28, of Jeff, was arrested in Russell County on Tuesday. He was indicted Oct. 29 along with Henry Cleaver, 28, of Elkhorn City, on charges of meth and fentanyl trafficking.
Cleaver was arrested about two weeks after the indictment, but Darnell remained free until Tuesday.
The meth trafficking charge is punishable by 1-to-5 years in prison, while the fentanyl trafficking charge carries a 5-to-10 year potential sentence.
Both men are being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
