LONDON, Ky. — The second of two defendants in a federal meth trafficking case out of Floyd County is expected to enter a guilty plea tomorrow.

Briana Hunter, 31, of McDowell, was indicted along with Stephanie Hall, 32, of Maytown, on a single count of conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth.

The two were arrested in May 2024 when they were pulled over for excessive window tint and a state trooper found nearly half a pound of meth in their car.

Hall pleaded guilty last month and is scheduled to be sentenced May 21.

Hunter is now scheduled to enter a guilty plea to the same charge in Lexington federal court tomorrow.

The charge carries a potential sentence of between five and 40 years in prison.
