PHELPS, Ky. — A Phelps man is in jail for arson, after allegedly setting a home on fire and documenting it in pictures.

Court records accuse Bruce Hurley, 41, of setting fire to a mobile home owned by his wife and in-laws on Saturday. The arrest warrant says that he sent pictures of himself setting the trailer on fire to his wife.

Police attempted to arrest him on Saturday, but he allegedly fled into Virginia.

He was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with second-degree arson and fleeing police.
