Pike clerk announces COVID-19 diagnosis

Pike County Clerk Rhonda Taylor

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Earlier this week, several offices in the Pike County courthouse closed for deep cleaning, after a staff member in the county clerk’s office tested positive for COVID-19.

Now, County Clerk Rhonda Taylor has announced she, too, has tested positive.

Taylor announced her diagnosis Thursday on Facebook. She said she still feels well and continues to work from home.

The clerk’s, PVA and sheriff’s offices remain closed until Monday. However, early voting continues in the election office, Monday through Saturday.
