Pike County hit with 9 new positive COVID-19 cases

Pike County health officials announced 9 new positive COVID-19 cases in Pike County, Kentucky on Friday evening, June 12.

According to the Pike County Health Department, the newest cases include :

  • 39 year-old-male, symptomatic and recovering from home
  • 57 year-old-female, asymptomatic and recovering from home
  • 53 year-old-male, asymptomatic and recovering from home
  • 27 year-old-female, symptomatic and recovering from home
  • 57 year-old-male who has been hospitalized
  • 59 year-old-male who has been hospitalized
  • 27 year-old-female, symptomatic and recovering from home
  • 31 year-old-male, symptomatic and recovering from home
  • 23 year-old-female, symptomatic and recovering from home

Health officials from the Pike County Health Department say that most of these cases are linked to each other or from previously announced positive cases in the county.
