A Pike County man is in custody after allegedly pulling a gun during the course of a fight.
According to court documents, 29-year-old Jody Tackett, of Pikeville, was arrested early Saturday after allegedly going to a residence at Booker Branch in Pike County and making threats against the residents and starting a physical altercation. Court documents said during the course of the fight, Tackett pulled a gun and pointed it at one of the residents and another person. The people whom Tackett allegedly pointed the gun toward were able to wrestle the gun away and eventually subdue Tackett until police arrived, court documents said.

According to court documents, police found a loaded Glock handgun at the scene.
Tackett was charged with a felony count of first-degree wanton endangerment and misdemeanor charges of menacing and third-degree criminal trespassing. He was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on a $10,000 surety bond.
