Prestonsburg pastor facing additional sexual related charges

A Prestonsburg man was indicted Wednesday by a Floyd County Grand Jury on two felony counts of using an electronic communications system to entice a minor to commit a sexual offense. 26 year old Bobby J. Blackburn was charged in Floyd District Court in May after being accused of sending text messages to a 17 year old female, asking her to engage in a sexual act with himself and another female juvenile. On Wednesday, he was indicted on that charge from the Prestonsburg Police Department as well as an additional charge from Kentucky State Police stemming from a separate, ongoing investigation. The second charge alleges Blackburn used a cell phone to entice another minor to commit sexual offenses from January of 2016 through September of 2017. Blackburn had been on home incarceration, but was re-arrested Wednesday evening after the indictment was issued.  He appeared in Floyd Circuit court Thursday afternoon and was put back on home incarceration.
