Rape suspects indicted in federal court for kidnapping

ASHLAND, Ky. — A federal grand jury has indicted two Ohio men accused of kidnapping and bringing the victim to Eastern Kentucky for criminal sexual activity.

Charles Glorioso, 52, of Dayton, Ohio, and Nathan Welch, 30, of Somerset, Ohio, are each now charged with kidnapping and a violation of the Mann Act, which involves crossing state lines for criminal sexual activity.

The indictment alleges the men kidnapped the victim in Ohio on July 11 and brought them to Greenup County.

Both men also face rape, sodomy and persistent felon charges in Greenup County.

Arrest warrants have been issued for both men. Welch is currently jailed in the Greenup County Detention Center. It is not known if Glorioso is in custody.
