Rep. Harris asks Governor Bevin to help Martin County

FRANKFORT, Ky. –  Residents of Martin County who have been struggling for years to get clean drinking water may be getting some assistance from Frankfort. Wednesday evening, 93rd District State Representative Chris Harris presented a resolution, asking Governor Matt Bevin to declare a state of emergency.  In his resolution, Harris noted that much of the system’s infrastructure is at least 40 years old and loses up to 60% of its treated water through leaks.
