SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A Magoffin County man was already facing potential criminal charges in connection with a stolen iPhone, but he now faces multiple felony charges for what he did when deputies came to ask about it.
Three deputies went to the home of Ronald Puckett, 26, of Salyersville, to ask him about the phone, but he wouldn’t come to the door.
When one of the deputies left to get a search warrant, Puckett allegedly walked out of the house, threw the phone at deputies, then got in his car and drove off.
That led to a pursuit, during which Puckett allegedly came close to hitting deputies and other vehicles with his car.
He was ultimately arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing police, wanton endangerment and several other charges.
