The Annual Pumpkins in the Park proved that students will strive to be successful. This event was held at the Pikeville City Park and provided students with funding towards their studies and a much-needed break. There was everything from face painting, hot dogs, and a costume contest for animals and children. Vice President of the Student Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry Brittany Martin says that she wants to give back to the community that helped raise her and that more people should support events such as this one so they can grow every year.
