The Pikeville Area Family YMCA has long had the vision to have indoor aquatics available for the community. New opportunities led to the City of Pikeville, Community Trust Bank, Inc., Fahe and other donors to provide support in the expansion of the YMCA and its Wellness Center. CEO/Executive Director of the Pikeville Area YMCA Shelly Justice-Fouts states this steel signing will symbolize progress in their expansion and show the strength of community support. Chairman of the Board at the YMCA Jerry Kanney says that it has been his life long dream to provide activities for the youth and senior citizens around the area.
