Three indicted for meth trafficking conspiracy

Ned Davis, Davon Blackford and Megan Stacy

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County man who was arrested for meth trafficking and other charges following a traffic stop in Prestonsburg earlier this month is now under federal indictment along with two others as part of a meth trafficking conspiracy.

Ned Davis, 38, of Paintsville; Davon Blackford, 41, of Lexington; and Megan Stacy, 27, of Sitka, are charged with conspiracy to distribute meth and possession of meth with the intent to distribute. Davis also faces additional possession charges and a number of gun charges.

Davis and Stacy each face up to 40 years in prison if convicted on the conspiracy charge, but Blackford faces up to life imprisonment because of a previous robbery conviction.

Davis also faces between five years and life in prison if convicted of possessing a gun during a drug crime, which must be served in addition to any other sentence he might receive.
