Trees For Troops

Fort Knox, KY — About 350 free Christmas trees are being offered to active military service members and their families after a tree lighting ceremony at a Kentucky Army post this week. The Trees for Troops program is providing the trees to be distributed Thursday at Fort Knox. The tree lighting is set for 5:30 p.m. the same day at the Post Gazebo across from Brooks Parade Field. The trees will be distributed until 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available.
