BIG STONE GAP, Va. — A southwest Virginia man who was arrested on federal drug charges after Wise County deputies pulled him over and found more than a pound of meth in his car has entered a guilty plea.
Kristopher Jay Tremblay, 30, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of conspiracy to distribute meth.
He was arrested back in September and accused of making regular trips to Georgia to pick up meth from a source, then bring it back to distribute to dealers throughout southwestern Virginia.
He will now be sentenced in February.
Tiffany Amanda Vanover, 33, was also charged as a co-conspirator. She is being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail while she waits for a grand jury to decide whether or not to indict her.
