PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two people have been arrested following a home invasion in Pikeville last week.

Police say multiple individuals entered a home on Bridge Street just before midnight last Thursday, told the people there to empty their pockets, and threatened to beat up or shoot anyone who didn’t comply.
Police say the robbers destroyed two of the occupants’ phones and took a third.

The following morning, police arrested Colby Moore, 25, of Bluefield, W.Va., and Evan Chapman, 26. of Pikeville. Both were charged with theft and second-degree robbery. The robbery charge is a Class B felony, punishable by 10-to-20 years in prison.

Both have since been released from jail on their own recognizance.
