Johnson man sentenced to 13 years for drug, gun charges

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison, after pleading guilty to federal drug and gun charges.

Timothy Morman, 55, of Flat Gap, pleaded guilty to possession of meth, fentanyl, cocaine and oxycodone with the intent to distribute and using a firearm in a drug trafficking crime.

He was arrested in 2022 when the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office raided his home and found meth, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, LSD and marijuana.

On Thursday, a judge sentenced him to 96 months for the drug charge and 60 months for the gun charge, for a total of 156 months.

He is currently in the Pike County Detention Center, awaiting transfer to the federal prison system.
