Kentucky State Police was called to the home of Frankie Myers Jr., 47, of Belfry, Friday afternoon, after parole officers reported finding drugs and guns at his home. After police arrived and searched the home, they seized 16 grams of meth, six grams of fentanyl and a gram of heroin, along with scales, plastic bags, pipes and a rifle.

Myers was arrested on charges of meth, fentanyl and heroin trafficking, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was also served with a warrant for trespassing, criminal mischief and attempted auto theft. Those charges related to a Nov. 9 incident when he and two other men allegedly tried to steal a car by hooking a chain to it, but succeeded only in damaging the front bumper.

Myers had also been on probation after pleading guilty to burglary and theft in 2023 and receiving a three-year suspended sentence. Prosecutors have now asked that his probation be revoked.

Myers is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
