HARLAN, Ky. — Two men suspected of a shooting in Harlan County are being sought by Kentucky State Police.
Police say Tony Ray Taylor, 40, of Wallins, and Matthew Saylor, 34, of Dayhoit, are wanted for attempted murder. The two men are accused of shooting Jamie Lawson, 44, of Wallins, outside of his sister’s home. Lawson was struck several times in the leg and shoulder, and was airlifted to a trauma center.
Saylor and Taylor repeatedly fled the scene in a white Chevy Cavalier.
Both men are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 10 at 606-573-3131.
