Virginia man facing felony burglary charge in Pike

A Virginia man was arrested recently for allegedly breaking into a house to get his child.

Court document say 24-year-old Kevin Ramey, of Oakwood, Virginia, broke through a window of a Pike County residence after he was not allowed in through the front door to get his child. Ramey allegedly broke a window and made entrance to the residence through the window, but fled once he learned police had been called.

Ramey was eventually arrested at Pikeville Medical Center and charged with a class C felony charge of second-degree burglary. As of this publishing, he remained lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
