Police spotted Thomas Price, 36, of Williamsport, in the Pink Elephant pawn shop parking lot Tuesday afternoon and knew him to be wanted for fleeing police in Johnson County and pointing a gun at them, so he attempted to pull him over.

The police report alleges Price fled instead, running the red light at Route 114 and then getting onto U.S. 23, where the pursuit reached its top speed. Police say he ran several people off the road on U.S. 23 and on Abbott Creek Road, where he went next.

Police soon found his vehicle abandoned along Abbott Creek Road, and located a passenger in the car, Alicia Hill, 37, of Williamsport, hiding behind a tree. Hill was arrested for fleeing police and she reportedly told officers that Price had run into the hills.

That evening, police received a report of a man going from house to house at Abbott Creek, asking to use people’s phones, and they went to check it out. As they drove to the area, they spotted Price on another home’s front porch, asking to use the phone. When he saw police, he allegedly forced his way inside the house.

Police followed and found him sitting on the couch, where he was arrested. He was arrested for fleeing police, wanton endangerment and numerous other charges.
