Floyd County Fall Cleanup begins on October 25th from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and October 26th from 7 AM to 1 PM. This event will be at Waste Connections located at 200 Garth Hollow Road in Martin, KY. Solid Waste Director of Floyd County Joe Reynolds states that the service is free of charge, but they will not accept tires, batteries, oil, items containing freon, and construction debris. Reynolds says there will be no trucks coming around to pick up and people must take litter to Waste Connections themselves.
