BELFRY, Ky. — A North Carolina woman was arrested in Pike County Friday night on a charge of prostitution.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Belfry Speedway over reports that Roberta Bowman, 55, of Hudson, N.C., was asking customers for money in exchange for sex. When deputies arrived, they found Bowman and wrote that she appeared to be intoxicated.

She was arrested on misdemeanor charges of prostitution and alcohol intoxication.
