WV community creates social distancing “Easter Bingo” event

The Community of Sunset in Williamson, WV has come together to provide the Tug Valley area with some safe social distancing fun with an “Easter Bingo” event.

Various houses throughout the Sunset community have designs/symbols hanging either in windows or doors that match or are similar to a Bingo Card that you can generate by clicking on this link:

According to one of the event organizers, Tonya Webb, you will have to print off the card or pull it up on your phone, tablet, etc., drive-by and locate the symbols and you can generate different cards each time so you can play more than once.

“During a time of uncertainty where all of us are being asked to stay indoors and away from each other as much as possible, I know how hard it can be both mentally and physically on someone, especially those that live alone or even for children and parents,” states Webb.

“While planning this activity, it was important for me and my neighbors to plan something that everyone could participate in while still practicing safe social distancing. We are always looking for ways to help others and to bring smiles to people’s faces.”

For more information and for rules on how to play, visit this event page on Facebook. Event organizers ask that participants share their pictures to this page while playing.

This event will be running from April 8th until April 19th.

Everyone is encouraged to participate and social distancing is required to combat the spread of COVID-19.
