THORNTON, Ky. — A report of a stolen laptop led police to arrest a Letcher County couple on child endangerment charges.

On Sunday, a state trooper investigating the theft learned that the computer had been tracked to an address on Stinking Creek.

When the officer went to the address, 35-year-old Tenisha Campbell answered the door and told the laptop was inside. As the officer followed her inside, he spotted meth, marijuana, paraphernalia and a loaded gun lying on a table.

Also inside the home was 48-year-old Randall Napier, holding a small child.

Campbell and Napier were arrested on charges of receiving stolen property, endangering the welfare of a minor, meth trafficking and possession of marijuana.
