PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A call reporting a Pikeville man passed out in a business parking lot resulted in an arrest for multiple counts of drug dealing.
Police were called to check on the man Tuesday afternoon. When they approached the vehicle, 32-year-old Jeremy Sullivan got out. Sullivan explained that he was simply “playing on his phone” and wasn’t passed out.
Officers reported that Sullivan seemed nervous, so they asked to search his car, and he refused. Instead, they brought in a police dog to sniff around the car, which immediately alerted on the driver’s side door.
Inside, officers found heroin, meth, Suboxone and a couple of unidentified powders in various containers.
Sullivan was arrested on three counts of drug trafficking, as well as possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
