EASTERN, Ky. — A Floyd County woman was arrested for DUI and other charges while in the school pickup line.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at Duff-Allen Central Elementary, where a school resource officer approached a car to ask who the driver was picking up.

The police report says that when the woman, identified as Jessica Rocha, 30, rolled down her window, he immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. He also wrote that three children were in the car and she told him she was there to pick up a fourth.

The officer said she had glassy, bloodshot eyes and she showed signs of intoxication during a field sobriety test. She also handed him a glass container of marijuana when he asked if there were any drugs in the car.

Rocha was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI, two counts of wanton endangerment and other charges.
