PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Zachary Thacker has been promoted to the position of Tug Valley Market President of Community Trust Bank, Inc., Mark A. Gooch, Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., announced on Friday.

Thacker’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services. His office is located at 28160 U.S Highway 119 in South Williamson, W.Va.
Thacker has 11 years of experience in banking. He has worked for Community Trust Bank since 2021 as a branch manager. He graduated from Belfry High School, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Pikeville, and is a graduate of the Patton Leadership Institute, a graduate of the Kentucky Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, and a graduate of the West Virginia Banking School.
Thacker is a member of the Pikeville Rotary Club. He is a member and Assistant Pastor of the Big Creek Free Will Baptist Church. He and his family reside at Sidney.
