LICK CREEK, Ky. — Police are investigating after a body was found in Pike County over the weekend.

According to Kentucky State Police, the remains were found at Lick Creek, near Fishtrap Lake State Park, Sunday evening.

So far, there is no word on the identity of the body or the cause of death.

The remains have been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification.
