PIKEVILLE, Ky. — An Elizabethtown man was arrested on a meth trafficking charge, after being pulled over early Thursday morning in Pikeville.

A Pikeville Police officer spotted 25-year-old Lawrence Phillip Jr.’s BMW weaving on Town Mountain Road and pulled him over.

After noting a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, the officer searched the vehicle and Phillip, and found a large amount of meth and a smaller amount of marijuana, along with a gun, cash and trafficking materials.

Phillip was arrested and charged with meth trafficking, possession of marijuana, and felon in possession of a firearm.
