ASHCAMP, Ky. — A man who has been wanted on meth trafficking charges for more than a year is now in custody, after being arrested for theft and other charges on Friday.
Ronnie Hill, 47, of Regina, was indicted for meth trafficking and persistent felony offender charges in October of last year.
Multiple attempts to locate him after the indictment failed, and he was declared a fugitive last December. That ended on Friday when police finally caught up to him when responding to a theft complaint.
Hill is accused of causing more than $1,000 in damage and stealing more than $1,000 worth of items while trespassing on another person’s property on Hustler Bartley Road, near Ashcamp. Police also seized three guns from him when he was arrested.
He is now charged with theft, criminal mischief, trespassing and felon in possession of a firearm, in addition to the indictment charges.
