Family offering reward in missing woman’s disappearance

The family of a woman missing from Prestonsburg for nearly a year is offering a reward in the woman’s disappearance.

Krista Nicole Garrett was last seen Aug. 30, 2019, in Prestonsburg at the Marathon gas station on Ky. 114, where she was along and on foot. She has not been seen, nor heard from since. Her family is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to her direct whereabouts.

Garrett is 33 years old, and stands 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 95 pounds. She has blonde or strawberry blonde hair and green eyes, and has a scar or mark on the left side of her forehead. She also has the name “Charlie” tattooed on the left side of her neck, and she also has tattoos of a frog on her left foot and a butterfly on her right shoulder.

Garrett was last seen wearing blue jeans, an orange or red shirt and white Nike running shoes.

Kentucky State Police is investigation Garrett’s disappearance. Those with information are encouraged to contact KSP Post 9 in Pikeville at (606) 433-7711.
