
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The final two defendants in a federal carjacking case have been sentenced to prison.
Christopher Adam Cole, 34, of Littcarr, and Angela Vanover, 49, of Hazard, appeared Friday in Pikeville federal court for sentencing.
Cole previously pleaded guilty to two counts of carjacking and one count of using a gun in a violent crime. He was sentenced to 24-and-a-half years in prison.
Vanover had pleaded guilty to one count of carjacking. She was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison.
Both were also ordered to pay more than 10-thousand dollars in restitution.
A third defendant — Brandi Hurt, 28, of Bonnyman — previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced earlier this year to 67 months in prison.
