PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been indicted on federal drug and gun charges.

Christopher Mackey, 34, of Garrett, is charged with three counts of distributing meth and two counts of felon in possession of a firearm.

He was allegedly discovered with meth on three occasions in October and November 2018, and was also discovered in possession of two 9 mm handguns in October 2018.

The drug charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years, while the gun charges carry a maximum of 10 years, if he is convicted.

Mackey is currently being held in the Leslie County Jail.
