Floyd man faces new charges when drugs found during arrest on warrants

MARTIN, Ky. — A Floyd County man who was arrested on several warrants for drug trafficking indictments will face additional charges following his arrest.

Nicholas Hagans, 45, of Langley, was wanted on indictment warrants from five cases involving drug trafficking and other charges. He was pulled over late Tuesday night at a Martin gas station by a deputy who recognized him and knew about the warrants.

After he was placed under arrest, deputies and Martin police officers discovered a bag of meth in his car, along with a gun, several types of pills and more than half an ounce of marijuana.

Hagans now faces additional charges of meth trafficking, felon in possession of a handgun, and several counts of drug possession.
