Zackery Ryan Hill, 35, of Pikeville, was arrested Wednesday afternoon, after he went to the courthouse to pay a fine and learned that there was a warrant for his arrest due to a sealed indictment.

That indictment charges him with two counts of using a computer to procure a minor for unlawful sexual activity, a felony punishable by 10-to-20 years in prison. He also faces one count of tampering with physical evidence, which is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

Hill is accused of contacting two minors for sexual activity in 2023. Records from his divorce indicate he was a teacher, softball coach, bus driver and ACT proctor at Shelby Valley at the time, but resigned in 2023 once Kentucky State Police began investigating him for inappropriate activities with minors.

Hill is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
