DEBORD, Ky. — Four former inmates at the U.S. Penitentiary Big Sandy in Martin County have been indicted on charges related to gang violence.
Mitchell Farkas, Andrew Tinlin, Jonathan Gober and James Poole each face two counts of violent crimes in aid of racketeering. They are accused of conspiring to commit murder and assault in order to join or raise their standing in the Aryan Circle.
The Aryan Circle is described in court documents as as violent, whites-only prison gang engaged in drug trafficking.
If convicted, the men all face up to 20 additional years in prison.
