Frankfort, KY — Governor Matt Bevin has made more appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions and one of those is from the region. Jonathan Paul Campbell has been appointed as a member of the State Board for the Certification of Librarians. Campbell, of Prestonsburg, is a county librarian. He will represent professional librarians in a public library and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2023. The State Board for the Certification of Librarians consists of five gubernatorial appointees. The board is charged with evaluating and approving the qualifications of applicants for licensure as certified librarians within the Commonwealth.
