SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Magoffin County, which left one person dead.

It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday night on Lacey Creek Road. Very few details have been released, but Kentucky State Police say the incident involved a state trooper and that one man died at the scene.

Police say no other details will be released until their investigation is complete.
