OMAR, W.Va. — The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is hoping you can help identify a man who robbed a store in Omar early Monday morning.

Police say the man entered the store carrying a crowbar shortly after 2 a.m. Once in the store, he grabbed the clerk and forced her onto the floor, while he smashed open a change machine and took over $3,600 in cash.
After reviewing security footage, police determined the man walked to the store, coming from the direction of Chauncey, but left going in the direction of the Omar basketball courts.
He is described as about 6 feet tall and slender. He was wearing a dark jacket, black mask and blue gloves.
