PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The second of two inmates who walked away from a work detail back in the spring has finally been caught.
Logan Hall, 30, of Mousie, and Larry Foster, 43, of Burnside, were part of an inmate crew working in Coal Run Village on June 16, when they slipped away.
Foster was re-arrested on July 25, but Hall continued to elude authorities for nearly five months. That ended Thursday, when Hall was booked back in the Pike County jail.
Hall had been serving a 10-year sentence for burglary, theft and wanton endangerment charges out of Knott County. He now faces a charge of second-degree escape that could add time to his sentence.
Foster was also charged with second-degree escape, but he pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution instead, which added 60 days to his 10-year sentence for a theft conviction in McCreary County.
