My name is Billy Kendrick, and I am a lifelong resident of Pike County and this district. I have been married to my wife, Tiffany, for 22 years, and we reside on Hurricane Creek, just outside of Pikeville. As many of you are aware, this is not my first campaign, as I am always seeking opportunities to serve the people of Pike County in some capacity. I have waited years for my opportunity to return and have that chance again. After careful consideration, I have decided to run for Pike County Magistrate, District 2, a position that I believe will be more important this time than it has been in the past.

Our county is facing some of the most challenging times right now, and we need someone who will work diligently to help resolve the most pressing issues. Some of the challenges we face are the decline in our population, the lack of good-paying jobs, unfair and unreasonable utility rate hikes, and the shortage of affordable housing. I will work alongside the other Magistrates and community leaders to find solutions to these significant issues. Our people are leaving and moving to different places because they have no other choice. We need to find a way to combat that. I realize that as your magistrate, I will also be responsible for keeping our roads, ditches, creeks, and grass in satisfactory condition, and I promise I will be keeping a close eye on all of those as well.

Over the years, I have obtained several degrees, some of which have taught me the skills necessary to be a successful leader. I hold a graduate-level management certificate and a Master of Justice Administration from the University of the Cumberlands, which equips me to serve the people effectively. When elected, I will serve the people of Pike County with Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability.

This election will be one of the most important Pike County has seen in many years. Now is our time to make our county somewhere people want to live and work again, but to accomplish that, we need the right people in office. You need someone who will stand up and fight for you, listen to your concerns, and be someone you can trust and believe in.

I humbly ask for your support and vote on May 19, 2026. Elect me, Billy Kendrick, for Pike County Magistrate District 2. I will see you all soon. Let’s move our county forward, not backward.
