
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two Knott County men have been arrested after being charged with drug trafficking.
Brandy Slone, 42, of Pippa Passes, and Raymond Risner, 57, of Hindman, were each charged in Pikeville federal court last week.
Slone is accused of distributing meth and felon in possession of a handgun, after Kentucky State Police and the ATF used a confidential informant to purchase meth from him on several occasions.
Risner is charged with distributing and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. The nature of his charges and whether they are connected to Slone’s case are unknown, because details of the case remain under seal.
Both men are currently being held in the Pike County jail
