Kentucky State Police Press Release: JACKSON, Ky. (Dec. 7, 2018) — On December 6, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Dustin J. Coomer, 29, on a charge relating to distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Coomer was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect was distributing sexually explicit images online.

Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Coomer is currently charged with one count of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Additional charges are expected.

He was lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
