MILLARD, Ky. — Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police received a report of an unresponsive woman near Millard. Officers found the body of Valarie McPeek, 53, of Pikeville, outside near Biggs Branch Road.

Police did not provide a cause of death, but said foul play is not suspected at this time.

The incident remains under investigation by Trooper Christopher Tyree.
