

PREMIUM, Ky. — A Letcher County woman is facing multiple drug trafficking charges, following an investigation by the Jenkins Police Department.
Jenkins police officer Justin Phipps obtained a search warrant for the home of 39-year-old Krista Blankenbeckley, of Premium. He then went to serve the warrant Wednesday, taking Letcher County Sheriff Mickey Stines and two deputies, along with Whitesburg Police Chief Tyron Fields and Asst. Chief Justin Hunsucker.
The officers seized more than 400 grams of fentanyl, more than 120 grams of meth, 139 grams of heroin, and more than $2,000 in cash.
Blankenbeckley was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, fentanyl, heroin and marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in the Letcher County Jail.
