Paintsville, Ky: Yesterday at Johnson Central High School, 16 year old Peyton Duncan was recognized for recently winning a state-wide art competition. Each month, A Youth Art Month winner is chosen for Elementary, Middle and High School categories. But, Peyton, who is a Junior at Johnson Central, was chosen as the overall winner for the 2017 – 2018 school year. In March, Peyton was honored at the National Art Education Conference in Seattle, Washington. But, there was one other surprise still waiting for her, and it was presented to her yesterday.

“Not only was her design made into a flag and hung there, but when we got back, we also won all f these supplies.These are sponsored by Sargeant Art Supplies, but also with that, what Peyton does not know nor Miranda; Peyton has received a check for a thousand dollars”

Sargeant Art Supplies also donated $1,500 dollars in art supplies to the school.
